WEILUN LEE

Weilun was born in Changhua, Taiwan, and grew up in a Presbyterian family. In late 2007, he married Haofang, who came from the same church, and together they moved to Boston in early 2008 to pursue graduate studies. They began attending CBCGB and quickly became involved in the City Outreach Ministry (COM, now City Light), where they participated in the Boston Student Fellowship, helped to establish the River of Delight Fellowship for young professionals, and served in the COM Sunday Service starting in 2009. In February 2012, their family relocated to Lincoln, Illinois, to help launch the Chinese ministry at Lincoln Christian University, where both Weilun and Haofang led the Lincoln Chinese Student Fellowship. In June 2021, following God’s leading once again, they returned to Boston. That fall, Weilun began his studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and upon completing his Master of Divinity in May 2025, he began serving as a minister of the City Hope ministry in Malden through CBCGB. Weilun and Haofang share a deep calling to minister to international students and young professionals, helping them encounter and worship God through His Word and through music. They have a daughter, Irene, and a son, Ian.
