KELLY HSU
CM Worship Deacon
Kelly was born in Nantou City, Taiwan, and attended in Nantou Presbyterian Church. She immigrated to New York City with her family at the age of 15. After getting married, Kelly moved to Boston with her husband, Dr. William Hsu. Kelly is a fourth-generation Christian. At the age of 17, she was baptized in Queens Taiwanese Evangelical Church and began to serve as a pianist.
Kelly was involved in church building expansion project and help organized annual music evangelical meetings. In 2001, she began to attend in CBCGB Crossing Bridge and participated in the MAPS Fellowship. In 2002, Kelly began to meet in the Chinese Ministry (CM) and started to serve as a Pianist. Over the years, she participated in the music ministry of the worship team, church choir, summer choirs... etc., and has been the chairman of the music ministry since 2018. When the City Outreach Ministry (COM) started in 2008, under the leadership of Pastor Pan, Kelly, along with other coworkers, established the Neighboring fellowship (愛鄰團契) for visiting scholars. A few years later, she returned to CM to lead worship. Kelly also participated in the core co-workers of YPA and one of the main co-workers of the Hosanna Fellowship.
Before marriage, Kelly worked in the banking industry as a supervisor of the corporate finance department. Now she is a piano teacher. William and Kelly have two sons, Wilson and Evan. Both are now working.
